Shami Kabab Chilli Garlic Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Shami Kabab: 6 kababs
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic: 1 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Red chillies: 3, chopped
  • Rice: 1 cup, boiled
  • Sugar: 1 tsp
  • Salt: To taste
  • Soy sauce: 1 tsp
  • Green onion: ¼ cup, chopped
  • Red chilli powder: 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Prepare the Shami Kababs: Fry the Shami Kababs until golden brown. Set aside once done.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté finely chopped garlic and chopped red chillies until aromatic, about 1 minute.
  3. Add Rice: Add the boiled rice to the pan, stirring to combine with the aromatics.
  4. Season: Sprinkle sugar, salt, soy sauce, and red chilli powder over the rice mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  5. Incorporate Green Onion: Add the chopped green onion to the rice mixture, stirring until combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve: Transfer the seasoned rice to a serving dish. Arrange the fried Shami Kababs on top. Garnish with additional chopped green onion if desired. Serve hot and enjoy this flavorful and satisfying dish that combines the richness of Shami Kababs with fragrant seasoned rice!
